I am just joining the forum because my search for a C6 Z06 led me to the for sale forum here. There is clearly a ton of information here and I hope to learn and contribute after making a purchase.
I am just your average middle aged guy from Indiana finally in a position to make a purchase. I have always prioritized my family, investments, and business pursuits so unfortunately I dont have much cool fun stuff to share yet. I did have a 1989 CBR 600 Hurricane I bought fresh out of high school. I did a bunch of mods to that bike and boy did she rip!
My interest in cars started at 12 when I saved up enough to subscribe to Popular Hot Rodding. I read that religiously until they shut down. Man what a magazine, I wish there were things like it today!
From reading your intro post . . . yeah, it’s time! Do your homework on what to be aware of, check out colors as well as options, research prices with various mileages, find your baby and move on it. Best of luck in fulfilling this dream!
@Gixxerman Do you still have your Gixxer? What year did you have? I had my Hurricane but also a 64 CB400f that I rebuilt. Man that little bike was gorgeous!
I tend to be a "finish what you started" type guy. Happened faster than I thought but this popped up on marketplace a few weeks back and she's a beaut. Took her out to the lake for our 10th anniversary last week. My wife and mine that is!
