I live at the beach and am a Realtor and everybody asks what about hurricanes?? I say well they don't just happen all of a sudden. You have plenty of time to get drunk and be a fool and stay or pack your stuff and leave. I'll take my chaces with a hurricane anyday oh and I've never been a foola nd stayed but I never had to leave the OBX in 25 years, 90mph is safe in my homes I build, just no pine trees.

I can't imagine living with the threat of hurricanes. At least tornados and earthquakes happen quickly, then thet're over with.

Just a reminder to my self to start the generator. Actual I have been in the eye wall of 3hurricanes
