Looking for consolation

Just looking for some sympathy, as someone hit my pretty Vette today, which I've only had for 3 months. Luckily, I saw him coming at me, and since our cars are so fast

I was able to accelerate so that he only got my rear panel, instead of the driver's door he was aimed at! What a pain dealing with insurance companies and auto body appointments...

That really bites but all is not lost..It's fixable right?

What was he driving? A Ford?

Yeah, it's fixable - I'll get the damage estimate tomorrow - & how did you know - a Ford Taurus!

Thanks for the sympathy, guys - turns out the damage is not too bad - $800, & the guy is actually good for it, even tho I didn;t call the cops. Sure did scare me tho!

Thanks, Eric. I was just really shaken up because the car was coming straight at my driver's door. But the good news is most of the damage was already buffed out! Are you going on the next cruise?
