My Z06 is down for a fuel filter replacement, but you guys mind if I bring my Turbo Buick? I need to locate some 116 or 118 race gas first though. Should put down 500-560 rwhp and probably push 700 rwtq.
I dont mind, would love to see a big hp buick. You probably wont be able to get your air/fuel read though, something about race gas that messes up the tail pipe sniffer.
I ended up with a best pull of 354.36 HP and 348.96 TQ.
Bruce's car was LOUD. It has enough torque to pull a stump out of the ground, but the power was lower than expected. Torque was in the high 300s, with HP in the high 200s. There is a lot of power on the table, but it needs some tuning. The N0S didn't hit, so we didn't get any numbers on the bottle. It looks like we ran out on the dyno.
I had a blast watching those vette's put down some numbers Nice hanging out with you guys and putting some names to faces! We'll have to do that again, and I promise to bring my Z06 next time.
That yellow Pontiac was LOUD And I was outside the building! Too bad the juice didn't kick in.
The ol' Buick batted cleanup ended up putting down 593/695 I was expecting 500-560 hp based on my weight and mph in the 1/4 mile, but pushing 600 is nice to have tho
Man, the g/f was wondering where the hell I was (yeah, she hates Corvettes btw, not my fault)

Well, I had a blast out there with you guys! That was my first time dynoing the car. To bad I had some fuel issues. Car was WAY lean at 14.5 a/f.
So Tuesday my Z completely quit. Wouldn't start. Had it towed to Ed Bozarth and it turns out my fuel sending unit was completely shot. No fuel in the left tank, engine was completely starved. I'm hoping that fixing that issue and putting the stock MAF on will help richen up the car a little... maybe get a little more power out of it!
And if that doesn't fix it, maybe the Dynatech Supermaxx's that I ordered today will! Jason at Texas Speed hooked me up. If you need headers, he is the guy to talk to!
