Yep, that was me! WTH, the gauge said I had about an 8th of a tank left, and the range meter said another 50 miles.
But it was either out of fuel, or it has old fuel in the bottom of the tank, that it won't run on. Filled it up with 5 gallons, it fired right up, and ran perfectly. Would the 4.10 gears throw the gauge, and computer off by 50 miles.......I would have thought it would have thrown it off the other way! It would have said it was out, and still had more to go......isn't that logical?

I've run my car to well below 1/4 tank with the reserve light screaming too. But when I'd hit the throttle or make a turn, the engine would cut out.
The problem with the C4 guages is that sometimes 1 bar means you've got 35 miles left in the tank, but other times 1 bar means you've got only 5 miles left in the tank.

Yeah, and I remember spending time in the garage trouble shooting your car only to find out that you RAN IT OUT OF GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took the 94 to KC this past weekend, left Lakin at 4pm and hit KC at 9:50 with one bar showing, still said I had 60 miles to go! should I have been looking for gas sooner? It only took 17.2 gallons????
