Default Help!! Need advice re. Colorado!!!

Thinking about relocating to Colorado soon. Colorado Springs area (Black Forest). Looking for input regarding the area, weather, work in the construction area (currently a project manager) and anything of interest. I have never been there, but the wife has many times and loves it. We have horses and want to buy 10+ acres.

Thanks in advance!!

The Black Forest Area is nice. We are from Northern California and live farther north in Parker. We also have horses as well as an assortment of other animals. You might want to become what we call a non-member of the Colorado Springs Corvette Social club. Great bunch of people mostly in the Colorado Springs area. It's a no rules and no dues club. The website is www.rmcsc.org.
Unfortunately, the site is down right now. Another is the Rocky Mountain Vette forum. It is currently up and running, but I don't remember the site address. Maybe you can find it on search.

By the way, nice choice of color on the vette. I have an 03 Electron Blue Coupe. The wife's vette is a 92 Blk Rose.

I moved from DC 10 years ago, and wouldn't leave. Weather is great, sunshine nearly every day. Cost of living for this area is great, only thing I miss is the ocean.

Moved from NYC 14 years ago. Love it here. I live in Castle Rock, right off I-25 it's halfway between Denver and the Springs. Being in construction you might consider it, you'll be able to commute to both Denver and Colorado Springs.

I moved from out East 5 years ago....and there is no moving back!

Larkspur is just south of Castle Rock and is perfectly located to go to Denver or Colorado Springs. You should be able to find something between Monument and Castle Rock. Generally, the closer you get to the mountains, the more you pay. There are still alot of nice properties slightly east that may suit your requirements. Be prepared to pay a premium for trees and a view.
