Anyone know of a good 3M clear mask person or shop here in the Denver metro area? Also, anyone had the mask applied to both the bumper and the hood/fenders. I've heard mixed reviews about applying the mask material to the flexible/curved bumper.
Sorry if this has been kicked around previously, but I couldn't find any prior posts on the Mountain forum.
I had mine done at a little shop on Broadway/County Line several years back. They did a great job, covers the nose, partial hood, mirrors, rockers and rear deck lid. Lots of stretching and fitting to match all the curves, the guy knew his stuff. Sorry but I don't remember the shop name off-hand.

Sounds like the place cheetah is talking about, might be IDS. They do the best tinting down south. And I know they also do the clear masks!

That's where I got my windows done also, and a friend of mine, the one who turned me on to IDS, had a clear bra put on his '02 WS6 there, and he was satisfied with the work, and he's a picky S.O.B.
Thanks folks. I checked in the Denver metro phone book and couldn't find a listing for IDS. Are they in the northwest corner area of Broadway and County line near Quizno's?

And they are a little north of County line, but are on the North-West side. From county line, go North on Broadway until the first light, then take a left (west). Take the first right on the next street, don't take the first right into the shopping center. The front of their shop is on the back side of all those other stores. Hope that makes sense.
The more curves the harder the install.
Make sure you go with someone who has done a bunch of Vetts.
Just because someone has done many cars/trucks, does not mean they can do a Vette.
I also recommend you be careful on a black or dark car. That makes it even tougher. Had it on my black C5 and was not happy. Great for chip protection but the "clear" bra was clearly noticable on the black. Maybe I had a bad install, but that just my $.02.
