Default Ceramic Heat coating

Well, I may one day get some headers......... if I do, I want to have them heat coated to keep temps down (since I hear that's the only downside to installing headers). Where is a good/best place to get it done at a GREAT price? Also, I am in colorado springs, so going way the heck up near the wy boarder wouldn't be worth the gas.......lol

THX

Most good headers come coated or have an option for coated. I have always opted for coated.

If I go new, I haven't seen that option on LG's website. If I find/get a used set........... obviously that wouldn't be an option.

THanks for telling me that before I bought uncoated ones and you stood there and looked at them with me.

You can send them off to Hot-Jet and they will clean them up and coat them. Just about all the ceramic coated headers are done by them.

Spectrum powder works in Colorado Springs does coatings and they do a great job. http://www.spectrumpowderworks.com/
They are similar in pricing to Jet Hot but they are local and can turn it around really quick!
