Default Fixvet??

Hey Dennis you out there?
Wanted to see if you made it back to Springfield in one piece. Fire season is upon us out here, so it's the same old same old.

I'm not Dennis, but I did live in SoCalif for over 50 years.

Seems like the last 10 years or so there are ALWAYS fires this time of year. Of course some are nature-sparked burns. Sadly, the Santa Ana winds also seem to bring out the arson bug in certain low-lifes.

Just another reason why I moved to Colorado.

Hey Benny.....sorry I missed seeing this post. Missouri is in the Great Lakes region, so I've been hanging out in there trying to get a feel for what's happening in my neck of the woods.......and I really mean "woods"......they're everywhere!!!

I finally got everything moved out of El Cajon, including both cars. The 2nd trip to SOMO in my C5 was alot more enjoyable though!! The first trip in that Penske rental just about beat me to death. 3 days was too much. After I pulled into town, I parked it for 2 days before I could even think about unloading it. But, now it's gone and I'm starting to meet some local vetters. The Chevy dealer down the street has a ton of vettes for sale, so I'm sure there are a bunch in the area somewhere. I've seen quite a few everyday when I'm out and about on the streets.

All in all, I'm glad to be here and getting settled into my new place.
Take care in SOCAL and stay in touch,
D
