Just can't wait any longer
Lets see.......... we are celebrating Sunday March 1st
National Beer Day for Iceland - Great excuse to get a cold beer
National Smile Day in the USA - Driving my Vette will make me smile
Really the weather is too nice, and I need to go on a run. So here is the run.
Start: Billy D's Coffee Shop 14705 W. 64th Ave. Arvada CO
Stop: Mustards Last Stand Boulder CO
Meet Time: 10am Probably leave around 10:30 (gotta drink a cup of Joe, actually there is a Jamba juice right next door as well)
Drive Time: per Google 1 hour 31 minutes. Depending on the road conditions, this might not be the typical "areas of acceleration" run, but more a sightseeing tour with time for pictures...
Lunch at Mustards Last Stand. Should be plenty of parking around the building.
I plan on doing a pre-run on Thursday to make sure the road is good shape and the parking lots are aplenty.
If this does not look good, then we may go south.
Hope to see you then!

Here is what it looked like Thursday morning about 7:30am. I could tell the gravel sweepers have been up there at the lower elevations so we will not have to worry about an abundance of gravel.
Just spoke with someone at the Best Western in Nederland and they said they roads are just wet, no snow lingering on the road and the Sun is shining!!!
I am going to go up on Saturday afternoon just to ensure a dry drive. With two days of Sunshine it should be great for our Sunday drive.
Will keep you all posted..
This is around Pinecliff
This is coming into Nederland
This is going down Boulder Canyon
There will be some nice spots to pull over and take pictures. Like this nice icy stream.

Hey Eric (Freak) Yea it's been a while. I happen to live only a few miles from Billy D's. It's in one of those little satellite areas in the Albertston's shopping ctr. It's on the corner and there is a Rib City on opposite corner.
Cya guys Sunday :-)

Thanks to everyone that joined me on the run today. Nice dry roads, a few spots of gravel, great picture ops and tasty hot dogs....
Not really sure what that sign means... The one with the big P and the line through it...
There is always this one person who wants to be on the wrong side of a double yellow, even when taking a picture.
Oh yea, we had a couple of guys that need to climb the side of mountain. I guess cause it was there?
A bit of the curvy road
Nice Vettes
Two more nice Vettes
And let me end with what everybody saw most of the day!! The back of my Vette.

Nice day for a Sunday cruise...
Lots of "No-Pee" zones.
Dutifully observed all posted limits.
Great to see you guys again!
