My new addition to the car stable!!!! Pics.....
i have been looking for a post war car to turn in to a wild street rod, i finally found it....1936 Chevrolet standard sport 2 door sedan, completely original and 95%complete, also a rust free body to work with
my plans for this conversion to a street rod are:
Corvette LS Motor backed by a 700r4 tranny, rolling on a late c4 suspension. the body will be chopped 4 inches and channeled 2 inches. let the work begin.........

where did you find that Ed??
Nice ride. Im thinking of maybe selling the Vette next spring to buy a 1929-1934 ford or chevy hot rod, but not from Colorado..going to look in other states for the right one.

i found it on craigslist, it is a original Colorado car out of buena vista. it has not been registered since 1952. has been sitting in a shed since then. i even got a copy of the original title along with a updated Colorado title. i am the third owner also....

that's the challenge i am very excited to be taking on.
i will just have to use a power buffer......not by hand....
everyone thought i was crazy when i bought this and sad i was going to restore it....
and it turned out to be this... not to bad for a guy not knowing what he is doing...

i was going to chop it 4 inches, but i have decided to leave the body original, except i am going with fiberglass fenders that are 2 inches wider to allow for wider tires. the drive train will be all custom along with the interior......i figure it will be about a 3-4 year project as long as i can bank roll it......
