Open lapping days HPR
When I ran Time Trials with SCCA the first weekend of the month they let us, cough R, cough A, well that 4 letter word. We had the green for open passing. I did, and had it done by an 2012 GT-R.
The open lapping days are total fun, but there's ususally a wide variance in the cars and skills on the track. Still, I highly recommend! And personally I find a half day gives me more than enough track time.
Here's a taste:

Jeff, in the TA and I ran most events in ESP for a couple years, and it was great chasing a guy I knew I could trust. Niether of us did very well that day though. It was only my 2nd time on the track. I can nail most of the apexes much better these days.

Our 4 run groups will open up the track so it won't be so crowded. I am thinking we won't allow more than 15 cars on the same run group. A will be experienced down to D for novice.
I haven't seen any corvettes yet. If you plan to come out with us, bring your registration with you to the track and be there before 7am so we can get cars teched before we have our driver meeting.
And remember, no corner working required by our drivers. We have a generous sponsor that is paying for the corner workers.
If you can't make it to the z club track day, the Lotus club has the track on Sunday. Contact them for more info.
i have run with PCA @ other tracks before on their 2 day rentals is the PCA of rocky mountain very friendly to other cars joining the group?
I have done a few PCA events at HPR last year. They are fine with other cars joining the group. They run nice events and always have corner workers. I know many of the guys that run the events, so if you have something in mind, I can always double check with them.
The gates open at 6am, with tech starting at 7 or whenever out trailer gets there.
If you plan to join us, bring your registration and check to the track early so we can get everyone teched and ready for a full day of lapping.
If you can't make it on saturday with the z club, consider coming out on Sunday with the Lotus club. june 5th
Both clubs are friendly and welcome all makes and models.

see you on the 25th!
Just got back from Pinkees open house prior to the Goodguys event up at the ranch this weekend.
all I can say is....
Several nice cars under the roof there. I did get a "thats bad ***" comment when I rolled out of there with the B&B fusions uncorked. For what I have wrapped up in the Z I could have had my TT LT5 1957 Nomad finished.....but I'm not a waxer. My Z is therapy for when I'm out of the office
Most had 2 hrs of track time through out the day.
Keep the MCCA dates in mind if you are planning a saturday or sunday track day.
