I would like to buy my own, but I have no place to keep it while it is not in use.
Anyone else?
U-Haul has a car trailer for rent that is low enough for a Corvette.
I have never used one because I have my own Kwik-load, but I have seen them and I'm sure they will be fine for hauling your Vette around.

Consider a storage facility, the type with outside parking where people keep boats, campers, RVs and such, it's what I do. The parking space is relatively cheap, and won't take up space on your own property.
Even if I had room in my garage for it, I probably wouldn't keep it at home.
I look at it this way; if I had a good sized boat, a small plane, RV, or a horse, I probably wouldn't be able to keep it at home either.
Hobbies can be expensive.

I used to tow my 15' back and forth to Iowa from Florida using a U-haul trailer. Had to use some 2x4 blocks to get front splitter to clear, and then drive front wheels up on to more blocks to clear the front stops. Easy if you have 2x4 pieces around. Otherwise... pain in ***. The more serious issue I had is that the Vette sits with much more weight forward on the trailer due to it's short wheelbase. The additional tongue weight caused my 2017 Explorer Sport to squat and wore out the rear tires in a 1700 mile trip. Interestingly, the first couple trips were with our 2010 Ford TT Flex with Megan Coilovers. I adjusted the rears to a much stiffer setting and tires were all good! So.... tow vehicle can make a difference, even if they have more than enough power to exceed the speed limit!
Be very careful with the rentals. Plenty of horror stories regarding damaged rocker panels (about a $1,000 repair). You have to manage ramp angle in order not to "hang" up the car.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
