I want to thank this forum for the alignment shop recommendation. It was a great experience. I searched here and read about Elroy's & Son's in Lakewood. I dealt with Bob, what a great guy! My coupe is lowered on stock bolts and I was nervous about getting up on a conventional rack. Elroy's has an 'in ground alignment rack'! No ramps, just drive straight in, how cool! I got down there with Bob and he explained exactly what he was doing and got the alignment right on. Here's the best part, all four wheels for $65.
Thanks again!
Thanks for posting that! I now live in Lakewood and will be needing a 4 wheel alignment on my project. It is low too so I'm really glad to hear about your experience at this shop. I once had a truck aligned after installing a lowering kit and the shop I went to charged $300 for the alignment. I was hoping to avoid that kind of charge on this project.

would like to find a shop in G J but denver is very doable for me also.
is this shop still open and in lakewood? has any one else used them and would you
comment.
need all 4 tires balanced and likely a 4 wheel alinement.
had it lined here last fall. drove like on rails for 3 week. started to shimmy and steering wheel went to 7 o'clock from dead straight or 9 as viewed looking at it. winter cam and parked it for season.
had a lot of other work to do on it. got back to front suspension and found the two c frame brace bolts handy under the engine. the the two c-frame bolts either side the rt shock tower were just barely snug and had backed out to the point there was a 3/16" gap between the shock tower and c-frame. the two under that were also loose. tightened every thing up and still have vibration and now poor turn in in corners and once it commits, it over turns-snaps around and have to turn back out.
i am sure when i locked down all the loose hard ware i tightened down in a out of lineament condition.
i am sure a good shop can straighten this out but the guy here swears there nothing wrong and after a talking to him for 5 minuets decided even if he is the only shop in town i don't want him back on my car
any comments from c-4 guys over there will be appreciated. getting close to getting her back to daily driver shape. would like to get back the way i was when i first came out shop.
