Default Starter Solenoid

Anyone know of a shop in Aurora or DTC area that might have a replacement starter solenoid for a C6?

Thanks,

Shawn

AutoZip Alternators and Starters
60 E. Chenango Ave
Englewood, CO 80113

that one might work, I've never been there just heard of it.

I went to D and D Auto Electric
10920 W. 44th Ave
Wheatridge, CO 80033

They replaced my starting solenoid for $25 and about 10 min wait time. Great deal and haven't had a problem since

I swapped mine out for a MSD High Torque starter. I got tired of torching the solenoids, and the pain in butt it was to get it out with the headers. The starter solenoids were easier to get from Jegs / Summit Racing, and seem to work a little better with the high heat my modified motor is putting out. Just another option for you if your looking for other ways.

So when you did the MSD, where did you hook the single wire with the weatherpack connecter? I know the connector has to come off but where does it go and what is it for? Anyone?

Thanks,

Shawn

I remember that I had to cut one connector off and put a new one on for my install. Its been a few years since i installed it so my memory is a little fuzzy. I'll see if I can get a picture of the connections for you. Everything was hooked up though and no wires were free. PM me if you need to talk to me over the phone.
