I have been thinking of putting on a corvette festival here in my home town. We currently host Shelbyfest each year in May. It draws roughly 800 vehicles and 25k spectators. I don't believe a corvette festival would draw that here the first year, however it would grow each year. There is a road coarse at our National Gaurd installment that I believe I could possibly get utilized for the event. I'd like to put something on for charity. There is a few programs here that I really like such as wounded warriors and honor flight. To my knowledge there isn't any large scale corvette events within 250 miles. Would there be any interest in such event. My towing company would sponsor it and I'm fairly certain my local Chevrolet dealership would as well. Venders would be welcome as well. What are your thoughts? Hoping some Midwest owners will chime in. I'm open to ideas and suggestions.
