Default Car/Racing scene in and around Bozeman, Montana?

We're considering making the move to escape out of California to the Big Sky State of Montana. I'm definitely into the outdoors: hunting, fishing, hiking, etc., but I'm worried about the car/racing scene out there. I really like autocross and running the big track in and around California, lots of options. How are things in Montana and around the Bozeman area for the car enthusiast?

Thanks,
-Greg

I am in Missoula, and I can tell you that Bozeman has the best car scene in the state. That said it's relatively quiet compared to a Cali for example...

Are you a republican or democrat? If the latter Please stay in California.

Easy there big shooter... It was a relational statement. I'm from Butte, and vote red. Chill out.

. I thought I had added the emoji.

My comment was meant to be funny. I need to wear my glasses when I post I guess so I can proofread easier.

BTW...not horribly far away is the track in Spokane. they do weekly track days in the summer.

Heck yeah. You have a car?

And it's all good. I can play along most of the time!

It's been a while since I lived in the Gallatin valley, but when I was there the only racing was stock car (on dirt). There wasn't anywhere else to open it up except on public roads. I was driving to White Sulphur Springs every Saturday AM for a while (approx 100 miles). I could drive 90+ for an hour and not see another car. At that time there wasn't a speed limit.
