Default Denver area body work.

Am in need of a small amount of body work on nose piece. Any one in this area (Denver) that can be trusted or you've had positive dealings with? Thanks

I stopped by Motorsport Concepts last night and I see he has 2 people from the Forum's car's in there. A '95 Yellow Coupe and an '86 (maybe) Dk Red - Who's are they?? I think the '86 is OleDog's car maybe?

Yep, the DRM 87 is Oledog's. Jarod's really cool to work with. He let me take the front bumper off along with the rockers and the lower control panel. Should've seen me driving up I25 from Castle rRck without the bumper, the car looked real mean.
I'll give him a call the end of this week to see how far he's gotten.

I will be stopping by there again tonight, I will give you a progress report. Also, if you're really happy with the work they are always really happy with Coors Light

I stopped by there last night and your parts are all in primer with a guide coat on them. He said they would be wet sanding them today and then painting today or tomorrow. At any rate he said you should probably have the car back on Friday.

Holy crap, I thought it would be at least a few weeks. Now I gotta figure how to get there. I figure I could take the mini van(which I take to Denver everyday) up to get the front bumper, rockers, etc. To pick up the car I've gotta get a ride. Tim, do you know if anybodies around on Saturday? I'll ask when he calls, this way I can get my daughter to take me up there.

Thanks for the good news.

Thanks for the offer. If I can catch a ride from Castle Rock to downtown Denver in the morning, I should be able to get to Jarod's after work (3:30PM).
If I'm stranded I'll give you a call.

Thanks Again
PS I'm actually hopin' he'll be around Sat. this way I can make one trip to get both the parts and the vette. And I wouldn't have to put up with rush hour traffic.

I was there again last night - everything is painted now, they will have to cut & buff everything now. Not sure if it will be ready today or Monday. It's going to look like a brand new car though! You've really taken care of that thing!

Thanks T, I wish I had more time to work on it. Clayed and Zainoied the crap out of it.
I knew it needed paint but didn't have the $$. Then when I dropped the seat from my Caravan on the hood I called the insurance company. I've got a $500 deductible and Jarod said I'd save him quite a few hours if I took off the front bumper. And in return he would paint the rockers, front quarter panels and gas tank lid. So its gonna cost my $500. I told Jarod to mix extra paint I'm thinking of tackleing the rear bumper?????.
Once I get the body in shape I wanna start doin' some work on the motor. I polished my valve covers and wheels now I need to do the plenum and runners. Then we'll see about headers, 1.6 rockers and a good tune.

Friggin snow. Picked up my bumper, rockers, 1/4 panels and gas lid on Friday. They look real good.
Was supposed to pick up the vette today, duh.
Castle Rock got at least 6" last night.
Depending on how bad it looks tonight(in castle rock) I may not be able to get it till Wednesday. I just want to get it home and back together.
Yeah I know, I should've realized Halloween in Colorado.
Gotta yell at Jarod for not painting the inside of the gas lid. But I waxed it and it looks good.

Got the Vette home, hood looks great. I'll start puttin it back together this weekend.

BTW This is Jarod's slow time. Anybody needing any paint work I'm sure he can get you in an out real quick. You may be able to negotiate a good price. If I can get the vette back together real quick I'm going to see what he'll want for the rear bumper. The idea of him doing it real quick sounds appealing, because after a few weeks I'll forget how to get it back together
