I need tuning done. The car is running lean and I need to get this handled.

What should I do to the car to get the best result from the tune.

I know it needs spark plugs. I s there anything else?

When can you get me in.

Spark plugs are a good start. Are you sure it's running lean? I can bring my laptop to work with me and meet up with you after work or at lunch or something and we can hook it up to TTS Datamaster and make sure it's running lean.

My version of LT1 Edit is locked to my PCM so I can't write the tune to your car but I think Kevin has Tunercat and he can actually write the tune to it - I can write a tune for you, I just can't write it to your car. Let's find out what it's doing first!

Sounds great.

The reason I think she is running lean is a dyno I had done the mix was never below 16.5.

Whoa! Was this at Wide Open Throttle?? You need to be down around 12.5 or so! PM me with your phone #!

Do you have an exhaust leak or anything? Trouble codes? It could be a bad O2 sesnsor too.

Not really sure. I had the computer sent out to recal. my speedometer when I put in the 4.10s, and I ported and descreened my MAF.

I bet that is where the problem is.

I'll give you guys a call.

Sorry I haven't called you yet Stan - I've been super busy with work these past 2 weeks, this project ends soon and then I should have plenty of free time!

We can try my MAF sensor (not like I need it right now )in your car and see if that's the problem if you want.
