July 4th proposal
I'd like to propose a July 4th event for the forum.
I'd like to see if we could carry the Stars and Stripes ( a 3 x 5 on a mini flag pole protruding up and out of our Vettes) from California to the WTC.
Forum members would hand off the flag every 50 miles or so. If we drove about 500 miles a day, in daylight, and starting on Saturday June 29, we could be at the WTC on Thursday July 4th :)
I'm sure that there would always be a caravan of Vettes with the flag carrier :)
What do you think????
