We go to the funfest every year - I will watch for any future posts you make regarding this potential "mini cruise in"....but be careful - once word gets out about your BBQ talents - this could get real ugly at an event this size....
I would be willing to help you out if you do decide to go the the Funfest...just let me know.

Re: Funfest 2004 (mjtihen)
My wife and I plan to be there this year. From what we have heard it should be a great time. It would be our first time to attend and we are looking forward to it.
Provided I get the injection/overdrive swap done in time, I'll be there with my car. if not, I'll probably still hitch a ride. This will be my third trip since 2001, but if my car's done, it will be the G/F's first.
BTW, where do you guys normally stay? We've hung out in Vendalia the last two times, just made reservations at the Travelodge last night for this year. If anyone is planning on staying there, ask for the EAST side of the building. There's a huge dip/culvert/canyon on the west side that's difficult to traverse in a low-slung vehicle. Just FYI.
Along the same lines, it is nice to walk outta the hotel room in the morning and see nothing but 'fiberglass bodies, glistening in the dew...
Count me in.
I heard about the awesome cook _ ROSCOE !!! Went last year. Nice weather, nice crowd, and Great lunch. I have a hunch that we'll see the C6 down there !
Anyone block hotel rooms ???
Looks like just about every hotel is already booked, but I did manage to get a room at the Cloverleaf Motel. Just spent about 1/2 hour on the phone with a real sweet 96 year old woman (Agnes) who runs the place, they don't take credit cards and didn't need a deposit mailed, so I reckon I'm in Ya'll.
