unfortunately this storm will take a similar track that the presidents storm of 2002 (which graced the northeast with an average of 12-24 inches)the low that is cruising up the southeast corridor will be hitting some warm moist air combine that with a quick temp drop and ...well need I say more HOPEFULLY this will be the last substantial fall of the winter solstice ..our best is that the warm air hangs in and we get some rain to wash this C--- away
I'm having a really hard time with this winter. I got my vette this december and haven't much good weather to do anything with it. There's so many things I want to do outdoors and the weather just won't give me a break. I'm taking Welbutrins like they're going out of style.

I have a BIG picture of black hills ND on the wall in front of my m/c,s sit on one.. turn on a tune .. drink a beverage ...and dream of warmer weather..
This will be the only nice day for awhile, so I took the Vette out for a spirited ride this morning.
I took a U-turn on RT. 80 thru a town & got a big wave from a red C5.
Seems like he had the same idea, ours were the only clean & shiney cars anywhere in sight.
I would take mine out but I refuse to have the stones ruin my rear quarter paint. The County or State snow trucks really go overboard around here with the cinders, it's ridiculous.

Yes, on Long Island they do the same thing with sand, salt, gravel, and whatever else they can find to deal with the snow. I only take the car out early in the morning before all the mundane drivers come out. Then she goes back in under the car cover.
The latest is that were getting a good dumping starting Monday afternoon. The weather people change their mind alot, so I'm going to start building my Igloo today.
Even in the south .... winter will not go away. Got the SES problem finally behind me on my 87 .... took her out for a 30 mile "test drive" to the grocery store (LOOOONG way down the windy country roads) ... feeling good .... then come home and read the weather forecast! Even down here we're supposed to get a blast of that storm. I'm in the "mix" area where they are not sure if it will be cold rain or a buncha white stuff.
Jack ... make it all go away before the 26th ... PLEASE!!! I remember a show we had in Va Beach in November 2000 ... cars got snowed on! But ... I've never seen a snow out in late March, so just maybe spring will actually be here!

Nope, supposed to be for real, 8+ inches; but you never know anymore...
I'll be driving Mine to work tomorrow regardless - so far this winter I haven't left it in the garage Once because of the weather. I see no reason to ruin that streak now. Put the snows on it and Drive!
We were coming home yesterday from skiing in Vermont, in my dirty F-150, southbound in Mass on I 91, and within ten minutes, I saw two shiny C-5's running northbound. I almost waved...I'm sure they were both out getting a quick run before today's snow...spring's coming.

Nah...didn't think so. Nice try.
Actually did see a C5 convertible out on Saturday, all dirty and with snow caked into the front intakes. The owner admitted she hated being out in the car ("she doesn't like it") but had no alternative...
