Coming down in buckets, washing away all that winter crud on the roads . Took mine out on Saturday and ended up with a white butt . So everybody, wake up those vettes, I expect to see you out there later this week.

You bet! Woke mine up Wednesday night and took her for a ride prior to the last storm. Have plans to take her to work to Wednesday after a quick (I hope) stop on the dealership for a coolant flush.

Champ,
Ayers. They're about 5 minutes from my house. To date, they've only done two oil changes for me. I plan to talk to the tech to ensure he's putting in the correct mix of Dexcol and water. Also, I want to plead with him to be careful.

Ed,
Thanks! If and when I need a dealer I was thinking about Gearhart. They did some warranty work on my ’00 Monte Carlo and they seemed competent enough.

Jules

PS: How did you make out on getting your tires mounted?

Jules,
Haven't pulled the trigger yet but did do some research. Robbies (in Dover) is a very very good shop. I can drop ship the tires from TireRack and have Robbies mount and balance. But, Robbie wants $70 per tire for mount and balance! So the Robbie's total is about $1700. My other choice is Birch Tire on Rt 46 in Randolph. $1440 for tires, mount, and balance. Decisions...Decisions...Decisions.. I know Robbie's (they did some body work on a few on my other cars over the years) and can most likely get the owner (Robbie himself) to do the job. I don't know Birch other than to say they were polite on the phone, returned my call promptly and knew how **** most vette owners are about their car.

I can't believe we are getting all this rain. When will it end. Looks like I wouldn't be able to driving my car until summer.
