Tobayfest?
What happened at Tobay? Why was it cancelled?
I went by there around 12:30, lots of troopers and ricers. Also traffic was backed up several miles eastbound, looked like everyone was trying to enter the OBI lot.

The township didn't give the coordinators the proper permission to use the parking lot. Captree was packed with lots of hot cars though, around 12. Most of us were there till 11, then we went to hooters for lunch.

Thanks for the comeback. I was concerned that whoever is in charge is deciding that our meetings at Captree will also be shut down. It's bad enough that they are charging fees way before Memorial day and thereby ending the Captree gathering early.

[F.J.B.]They didnt charge this past sunday....and it filled to capacity around 10, when we arrived!!!!!

On my way home I saw them collecting fees in the Parking Lot after the water tower. What ever happened to fees being collected from Memorial Day to Labor Day? I won't be supprised if they collect a fee at Captree this coming Sunday, oh well....back to O.B.I. for now.

That lot after the water tower was a parking lot to gain access to the beach!!!! Not for the car gatherings......thats why the road was backed up......I saw it when we were heading to Hooters!!!!
