Default Thanks Rex Ruby!

Thanks again John for hosting the Hurst Shifter day.

Now I know what all the fuss is about. On the drive home, my powershifts were nice, clean and firm. All the slop of my stock shifter is gone, this new Hurst is solid.

Thanks to everyone else who showed up, the help on the exhaust systems was much easier with a few extra Corvette doctors on hand.

Four shifter installs and lunch. It was a very productive day.

I have learned on very important thing. Borla sucks!

By far the easiest exhaust we took off was Chucks custom exhaust, the hardest was tsts's Borla. Mine fell in between.

Rex Ruby will forever be known as the "Pin Man".

Each of us did most of the removal of the old shifters on our cars, but John did the grunt work of actually changing the Hurst in place of the stock on the work bench and then we went back to putting our new shifters in and replacing the interior items while John stood below inserting the pins.

Next mod day should be longtube headers, so let's order them up y'all!

Thanks again John

Thanks Rex for the shop day. I somewhow managed the header install myself but this job is best done with a lot of help.

Now, can you get that lift to go up a little faster? We must have wasted 10 minutes all day waiting for that thing.

Default Shifter day at Rex Ruby's

As the owner of the old and crapiest exhaust system that turned to s**T as we removed it (breaking off two connector flange bolts in the process), I wish to thank Rex Ruby, Mojo, Felngr8, charlie and all those (including the guy who dashed out to secure more hardware) that helped swap in the replacement exhaust system. As a new guy to the group I certainly felt welcomed and accepted. The new shifter is Soooo much better than the stock one and the exhaust change made it a double bonus day (and eve). Rex Ruby - sorry about the broken socketit will be replaced.
Thanks to all,

Tim it was good to meet you.

Putting that new(stock) exhaust on was a breeze wasn't it?

You guys are WELCOME
What a successful day, despite the challenges all 4 Vettes threw at us. I'm just amazed we got them all done and no one was left in the driveway
