Here's some excellent restaurants in LBI that I've had dinner at a few times - all very good, but no ocean views. The only water view (Bay side) that I know of on LBI is Morrissey's & it's a family style place.
Octopuss's Garden - Surf City
The Yellow Fin - Surf City
Green Gable Cafe - (Beach Haven)
Stefano's - Beach Haven (Good food but more family fair)
Sweet Vidalia - Beach Haven
Raimondo's - (I think it's Beach Haven)
These are all BYO & be sure to make reservations they all get filled pretty quickly this time of year.

All Good. Raimondo's changed names this year, I think, I'll check.

Do you mean Cafferty's? I haven't been there but I hear it's ok. Another place in the area, about 3 miles south of Cafferty's on Rt 9 is the Thirsty Mallard.

Thirsty Mallard is better than Cafferty's. I think we've eaten everywhere in south Jersey.

Does anyone know of any good places to eat in that area? My friend is in from upstate NY and staying at Cape May so now I am stuck looking for a place to eat in an area that I have no idea what is good....
thanks

Hey Bob,
I'm sure there is a McDonalds near by there at 1 of the rest areas...

LMAO! WE used to do Mac D's alot when my boy was younger. We cut it out of the diet alot. I went there the other day on the way to work as an emergency dinner. And it went right through me as fast as it went in. PHEW!
