Whos going? Anyone Racing? Anyone showing thier ride?

 

Hey. I'm going up tom. Figure a sticky track and relatively cool weather. I'm not showing but I will be racing. What are you driving?

I am taking my 6yr old Nephew. Not racing or showing for me. I am going Saturday. He'll love the Nitro and the Jet cars, he has never been to a pro race before.

 

I'll be up there tomorrow and Sunday. I'll be racing. If you see me in the pits or in the staging lanes be sure to stop on over and say hi.

 

hey. I think we met up there. Got booted out of the lanes at the same time. How did you run? I thought you said you ran a 11.1

 

It rained for 2 1/2 hours. It then cleared up. We all figured, hell, we're gonna get racing again. NOPE, they called it shortly after 4pm; 10 minutes after it stopped raining. Friggin BS if you ask me. 15 minutes after they called it, the sun was shining bright. There was PLENTY OF TIME to finish it. Some on the "other side" will come up with some story on how they couldn't finish it..in reality...there's NO EXCUSE for what happened today. We got screwed. If you were still in eliminations today and are not pissed off, you oughta be. I really hope all the other Super Chevy racers who took the bone today chime into this thread and back me on this.

 

Hey Kyle......I saw your car up there but didn't see you.

I was up there with my 67 Chevelle. It was running awesome...went 10.29 @ 131 on Friday. 2nd round elims it went 10.32 at 124 with me LIFTING off the gas!!!! Would have been a good one. I was still in there when the rain hit. I am PISSED. Screwed again by the lovely folks at NED and Super Chevy. Figures, I was on, the car was on. Damn.

As long as were are complaining...what a BULL shiznit money making event this has become. Ok, let's see.....you get 2 time trials...then with PLENTY of time left for 1 or 2 more time trials....let's have a BONUS race that you have to pay MORE money to get in ($35). That is BS item # 1. Onto # 2......let's have a first round losers buy back..for $50 a pop. WTF....I knocked your azz out of the first round...now get on the trailer and go home. Considering there were 3 classes, that was 3 extra rounds they had to run to go through these buy back cars......could have done more rounds of elims. BS item # 3 coming your way....sooooo...why can't the Super Chevy azzmunches split the payout money between the cars still alive!?!?!? That's seems fair to me. But noooooo.....they just want to pocket our cash and Fizzuck us again.

I have gone to the Super Chevy event at NED (when it wasn't rained out) for the past 6 years....I am SERIOUSLY thinking about NOT "contributing" my hard earned cash to them next year. They SUCK.
