and Kissena Park
still a par 3 at Flushing Meadow, a little smaller since they opened the new tennis stadium
Jones Beach has a nice pitch and putt for practice

If you don't mind taking a ride out to Sunken Meadow GC they reserve a couple of walk-on spots for each hour if you don't have reservations. Only thing is you need to get there EARLY to get a decent tee time. When I say early I mean like 5am but you'll probably get to play around 6am and will be done by 10am....
Otherwise, any of the NYC courses are ridculoulsy crowded......
my clubs are buried in Flushing Meadow
I tried some pitch and putt, it was fun but I found it frustrating.
I really would embarrass myself, I would even make Alex look good
