Default Anyone know this Vette?

I was cruising around town yesterday (Groton CT) and saw a 65 or 66 Milano Maroon vert, no hood, headlites open, going North on RT 117. I was in my white 64 going South. By the time I turned around to see who it was, I lost him. He may have gotten on to I-95.

Anyone know this car or owner? Sure would like to meet another C2 owner who lives close by.

Thanks

ps: He and his passenger were waving like crazy. At least they know the rules.

I have seen a beautiful red 65 in East Lyme - the owner and I exchanged compliments at a traffic light a few weeks ago. I live in East Lyme. I do not know if that is the same one you described.

And I have seen your car in my travels around the SE area. Nice ride.

Hey Paul, yeah that was me, lost my hood in a mishap - should have told you I was in town . . . .

KIDDING!

nice to know you can spot Milano Maroon (or was it Marlboroh Maroon? ) C2s now, even though I know your heart still beats for White 64s . . .

Thanks for the compliment EG.

Jack, since I'm not up on my Maroons, I'll leave it to you guys that own them. Not sure what year they changed the name.

Actually, my heart beats for Silver Blue 64's (my original color), but I have to wait for the wallet to refill a little.

I'm on a 2 year waiting list to get the body fixed and painted, so in the meantime it will stay White and be driven.
