Default Mod Party : Grond's slush box gets overhauled

As reported, I installed a Transgo Shift kit (a move from the B&M Shift kit I had previously) and screwed up the install somewhere along the way and completely lost my 2nd gear. That didn't stop me driving Grond to Carlisle, but I do have to repair my mess and get my 2nd gear back!

So if anyone wants to drop in, I'm overhauling my slush box this weekend, starting Saturday morning circa 10am. I'm in East Lyme, CT. Drop me a PM for directions if interested.

Bill Curlee is coming over with his Z06 and I don't know who else will drop it. My garage fridge is working now so I'll buy some beer and fill it up

EG

p.s. this is especially important with the upcoming road race confrontation between David (me) and Goliath (Chris @ ECS)

Update : still no 2nd gear. Shift kit is definitely installed correctly (so I didn't screw up after all). Pulled the valve body down and associated bits and went through the build with a fine toothed comb. Bill Curlee and I were at the helm

Transgo suggested that it is probably my 1-2 shift solenoid that went south.

I'm taking Grond to the Stealership next week so they can diagnose the slush box on their Tech II. I just need to know exactly what the problem is so I can fix it.
