Default Urgent Warning!!!!!!!!!!

Just a friendly warning : Please stop posting personal information such as Phone Numbers, Addresses, Cell Numbers, Etc in a public post. Try to send that information thru email or PMs to the person you want to have that information.

In some instances innocent people have been receiving phone calls from individuals who have no legitimate reason to be calling.

Treat this information as you see fit.

Wow I did not realize that people are doing this.

Who the F has enough time to go out of their way to say they are FJB. Plus who would want to

what now we need a secret password when we call each other???

BTW - FJB I saw Carlos Mencia last night and thought of you right away.

Once skit was about Asian People needed to be called Asians instead of Orientals. He went on that "Asian" people say they live in the Orient, they say come vacation in the Orient (a name that none of us gave it), eat Oriental Noodles and on on, but then call them Orientals and they get all offended…..

Another skit was about how white people are called white people throughout the US, but he being Hispanic is called a Mexican in California and a Cuban in Florida.

Very funny guy….

FJB is 100% correct. I was approached by an individual via AIM pretending to be FJB. That individual did a pretty good job for a while until that individual did not know what a PCM was (bit of a giveaway). I that point I blocked that AIM account from contacting me.

That individual then attempted to contact me with at least 2 dozen other AIM accounts in the hope that I would respond - I blocked them all.

So caveat. My IMs are part of my profile so I don't care if anyone contacts me that way - but if you want me to respond, then email me first.

I never give out other info like telephone numbers on the public Forum. I strongly advise that no one does that.

. . .
It could have actually been FJB. I once heard him describe a PCM as "that plastic thingy with the wires."

Noel et al,

I don't want to speak for FJB, but I can say that there is somebody who in some instances is claiming to be FJB on AIM (screenname BarryA[I'm omitting the last bit, as it is FJB's real last name]) and in other is sending PM's saying all sort of things. Generally, this person will leave you alone if you ignore it. Responding or taunting will merely egg it on -- so the best advice is to just ignore it.

Again, definately refrain from posting your cell phone number or any other private information, as others have pointed out this person WILL call you (that's why I didn't post my cell phone # on the Red Cross Run info).

There are all sorts of psycho people out there, some of them enjoy dragging peoples name through the mud.
