It's just a general aura of offensiveness.

Thanks for the warm greetings everyone. To answer some questions I am unsure which number she is. Its with all my paperwork , she's being delivered to me from Texas. Should arrive Friday between 10am-2pm its a 4 hour window. Anyway the car put down 438 rwhp & 426lb ft of torque. The previous owner added 1.7 rockers , custom ground LPE cam , long tube headers , 3" cats and a built to order Magaflow 3" cat back with stock exhaust tips. I hope to add in some form of forced induction. I much prefer a turbo setup but it seems one does not exist for my car. But I hear that HP Turbos may wish to build one for me. I also own a 05 Toyota Prius and a 93 Mustang Cobra turbo thats putting down 581 rwhp. But she is going to be sold soon to fund the Boosted portion of my build up. Look foward to meeting everyone in the future !

Wow! Never heard of anyone putting a turbo in a Grand Sport. That's awesome! Good luck with your project. I can't wait to see it in person. I'm sure during the spring and summer, we'll meet up at some point.

Trust me I am scared I called HP turbo after posting I am told they will call back tomorrow. Basically they would be meshing together there L98 Vette and LT1 Camaro parts and then fabbing up all the intercooler piping etc.... I want to build a simple (laughing here is OK) 700-750 rwhp Streetable Vette. Having previously owned a 860+ rwhp Supra it can be done. I drove her daily for 2 years in that form on pump gas. This Vette should be way faster based on weight & gearing. Wish me luck I'm going to need some more therapy after this !

Have you spoken to the guys at ECS? They specialize in FI vettes. Last week, when I was there they were working on a twin turbo Z06 and an insane Supercharged/nitrous Z06!

I did as a matter of fact and was told they are focused on the C5& C6 cars at this time.

Just don't ask Alex for cam advice! He'll convince you to put 2 4cyl cams in your car

Its best to ignore the

If he knows what's good for him, he'll crawl back to his empty YR cave before Mr. Mojo steps in and gladly bans him for harrassing a corvette forum member.

Nabbs is just jealous that the only mods he's done are a camera on the back so he can see when he backs up that RIG and 22 inch rims

There's no reason to say anything further.

Getting back to the GS, will you have to get a different cam because of the turbo setup? How long do you estimate the whole thing will take? Hopefully, it'll all be ready in the spring.

There are some turbo specific cams available so I could run a stock cam. or go with a turbo grind. The turbo system should take 30-45 days to properly setup. I hope to have it done by the end of Feb 06 sooner if they can get it in. It will be a single turbo setup though , not a twin !

You are such a closet waxer. It really is a beautiful car though.

Alex, let's kiss up and make up already. I genuinely feel bad if I insulted you -- so let me offer you an olive branch. I am glad you are happy with your setup, and I will be the first to admit it's not my place to critisize your choice of mods. We always have fun when we go on runs together (we both end up running from the cops together!). So here's my mea culpa: come paintballing and I'll offer you one free shot. ONE. No shots do the beans and frank or face. If you miss, c'est la vie. And this offer is only good to Alex! Rex, you're still waaaaaay at the back of the line of people who get to take a free shot

New dude -- you better have thick skin here, or you'll end up in the corner with the Philly guys
