Sunday was about 60 degrees. Took my 01 vert out for its last 'top down' ride of the year. I' m sitting at a red light and hear beeping from the gas station which is on the corner. I look over and see a young guy (17 or 18) sitting in his car. He gives me this big smile and a thumbs up! So I yell 'Thanks' and he just nods. About ten minutes later, I hear someone beeping next to me. It's a white Z06. We exchange thumbs up and a smile. MAN...Gotta love these cars!!!!! Made my day.

Yesterday, while driving back home after hanging out with Rich (Fallen) for a while, I past a minivan with two little kids in the back. When they saw me, their little eyes bugged out and they waved at me. I gave them a big smile, waved back and gunned it so they could hear the exhaust. I think I made their day and probably created some new future vette owners.
I totally agree, vettes are amazing, I always come home with a smile on my face after going for a ride.
Parkin the Vette @ the mall yesterday when what do I see coming down the road but a Ferrari 550 Maranello
I'm leanin across the car to check it out through the passengers window and I see the driver slowly drivin by, checkin out my car with a big smile on his face!
I'm thinkin "oh what I would do to own that car," and meanwhile he's droolin over mine! These are truly great cars

I happen to be driving by an all girl Catholic H.S. around 3:05 p.m. .....yada yada yada some of the girls have dropped out of school and are now working in CT
Here's the real story,
I drive into a rest parking lot, as I'm gettin out of my car, there was a young family getting in their 10yr old mini-van. The guy was like "OMG you're car is amazing, oh man I'm not into vette but your car is Hottttttttt". Then he tells me, "You wanna Trade?" and pointing to his van (not realizing he was actually pointing at his wife standing behind him)..... I look over his wife (a milf and a half) and her 2 kids ......... and umm, No thanks, I already have a wife and a son at home
The guy turns back and realizes he was pointing at her , she cracks up
I have a good one....(i swear it's the truth)
I went to the car wash about 2 weeks ago, and there was a sedan infront of my car. As the cars entered the wash, I stood behind the glass wall looking at the guys washing the car. A mother with her little girl were looking at the cars also. Their car (the sedan) was ahead of mine in the wash. As their car entered the little girl asked "Where is the colored stringy soap" - She meant the colored wax. The mom responded "We got the cheap wash, and it doesn't come with the fancy soap". The mother looked at my car, and said to the little girl, "here comes a really hot car, he'll have the fancy soap". The little girl waited an gazed at my car waiting for the fancy soap. (I never get the wax, because I'm slowly becoming a zaino hoe').
After the little girl saw my car go through the wash without the fancy soap, she yelled across the store to her mom, "Mommy he's cheap like you, he didn't get the fancy soap!!"
(I went from really jacked up becasue the mom loved the car, to crashing down to earth because the little girl put me in my place!)

Two weeks ago, my younger son and I drove up to Kent, Ct. so he could spend some time with a female friend. I had two hours to drive around, so I promptly got lost in NW Connecticut. I had the top down, it was a beautiful day, and as I drove through a small town, two kids, about 10 years old, saw me and shouted out, "smoke the tires!!!". I did, and some day, they will get Vettes.
