Cory- Ralph is the worst machinist I've ever dealt with in 30 years, I fully expect to see him in court. Word of advice on your engine - it might not be your fault from using 89 octane that it failed. If you didn't check the bore and ring gaps you might have been doomed from the start. I know how to use measuring tools- something he must not have considered. From what I heard I'm not the only one to have a problem there but maybe the only one to check his work before building the engine.Add to that he stole my pink rods and tried to say they were an exchange or core!
Well I'm not going to get into the case here. You can come to the trial if you want. you figure it out, the ring gaps were over .035" when I fit the new rings in the bores.
Kids I went to trade school with 30 years ago could hold tighter tolerances.
