Default Looking for Wheels [closed]

I bent one of my front wheels during the run (NYC) on Sunday. I went to the tire place yesterday after work and he checked the balance and I threw the weight off and he put (.75) on but I still have a shake in my steering.

Bent the rim...

Does anyone have a set [F = 17" R = 18"] that they want to sell that would look good on my black "98" ???

Rob

Barry you are thinking of keeping the thin spokes? I plan to sell mine when I order the 2nd set of CCWs.

hopefully you only bent the rim.

Rob did you look in the parts section? There are always people looking to part with their current wheels.

If you are doing a direct replacement (wagon wheels) then you should be able to get them cheap. If you are going to step up to the thin spokes then you will be paying more money. I plan to sell my thin spokes in a few weeks, but of course that doesn't help you now.

Barry I think you will get a good $$$ for the thin spoke wheels and tires (assuming your tires are still pretty good).

Thin spokes probably $400 and then another $200 for the tires? what do you think?

I have a little time...I'm planning on taking the car to Florida in March (spring break) and will need to have something by then.

I'm getting the shake at 70 mph or so.

Do you have a pic?

One "wagon wheel" 17" is all I really need right now. I checked the parts section this morning and didn't notice anything current. I really haven't decided yet which way I want to go but, if I can find a good deal it may make my decision a little easier.

I thought I would ask in the Northeast section because I would also like to SEE what I'm purchasing...

The funny thing is I keep debating whether or not to ge the black CCW classics or the polished. I have a set of polished for the track so I was going to match another set for the street, but heck I like the blacks.

I guess that is why I have not ordered anything yet.
