There is NOTHING legal about parking in Times Square , whether in a Vette or any other car. But usually for our photo-ops the cops have been cool about it. This just gives them reason not to be. If you think otherwise. Well, like all the other static you cause on this forum, your entitled to your opinion!!!

And what if the press contacted him? Somehow i don't think it would be too easy to go to a news station or paper and say, "hey do a story on me and my dvd". They probably contacted him. You acting like the cops care so much about this too. In NYC there are rapes, murders, and drug deals going down everyday. I don't think you guys are in danger for parking in times square, whats the worst there gonna do? Make you park somewhere else like normal citizens? Sounds like you guys are jealous that you aren't getting the attention... I bought his second DVD and most of it seemed pretty safe to me, no excess of weaving in and out of traffic and no side to side street races on suburban roads. Looks like it is on highways or deserted city streets...

I have no problem with Rob selling his DVD and making a buck off of it (even if he's a Ferrari wanna-be hanger on). What annoys me is that he is happy to encourage the media to report on his DVD in an inciteful way. That is to say, it is daring the local police and legislators to take notice. There are certain things in that video that we all enjoy doing, but don't want to bring un-needed attention to. By going on the 10 o'clock news, he has done that.
I am fairly sure that Rob or his production company called the media.

Weeks later, they would show up at the perps door at 6 am arrest him and impound the car . . .

You guys act like the cops didn't know what was going on until Rob talked to the media... Im pretty sure they knew what was going on.. In November Rob was on Inside Edition saying the same thing and nothing has changed with the cops. Last week on Alex's run and most every run, everyone was doing the same thing with high speeds and getting pulled over causing attention and everyone thought it was funny..
Who cares if Rob makes money off the car scene? If he doesnt do it someone else will. Nabbs you made some money when you made t-shirts for yuppie racing and sold them for double what you paid. Hell i make money off the car scene by selling accessories and tires on the internet. It sounds more like you guys have a personal problem with rob more then what he did with the media....
