hi i sent my 66 vette rear bumper to be rechromed in philly .sent it first week in january .i've called several times and get promises from a nice man named jerry . if anyone knows him could you be kind enough to ask about my bumper . his name is jerry martin . address is 2127 margaret st. philladelphia 19124 . my name is duane kear and i am in sylvania,ohio . lastly i have to go for another test today . the doctor THINKS i may have cancer and i would like to get my bumper back on just in case he is right . my kids don't know so please DON"T MENTION THIS in any replies . please don't go out of your way but only do this if it is not inconvenient . thanks , duane

won't know for two weeks ,but thanks for asking . my opinion is that i am alright and it is a ''lets do as many tests as we can'' to avoid a malpractice situation in the future . doctors are in a tough position these days . thanks again,duane

i don't know who but someone from the forum stopped to talk with mr. martin,he just called me . he was impressed and said he would do my bumper monday . i really do think he is a good guy but i was getting frustrated after almost 8 weeks . whoever you are i am really greatful and hope i can do something kind in return some day .GOD BLESS YOU . duane

I used to work the streets in Phila. before I retired from the City Gov. and knew exactly where the place was located. Jerry impressed me as a guy who wanted to do his best and he had a lot of things going on. He explained his father had done the original chrome job at his shop before he closed that shop. Jerry had your half bumper right there as we talked and explained that the original chrome had begun to peel. He said he would call you today (apparently he has) and he would make your piece a priority job as of Monday. I know these things take awhile but your piece should be in steady motion starting Monday. Email me through the forum if it goes past 2 weeks, good luck.
