I finally turned over the fresh engine in my 93. I have a few items that I would like to have looked at by someone who knows what they are doing. I don't know of any reputable places, whether I need a vette mechanic or a normal mechanic to take a look at them but here's my problems.
High oil pressure
ticking from passenger side of motor (header leak or rockers?)
timing could be off
Service ASR light is on
I'min Northern RI and am willing to transport the car. I'd like to settle these problems after next week.

if it was a c5 i say the oil pres. sending is bad, a C4 w/ a new motor? lots of variables
if they're aftermarket headers(all i've seen are POS for C4's), then ex. leak is most likely; did a set last year, my uncle has a set of Darts, matched the header flange, bolt holes were hours of fun
thanks for the replies and thanks CT for the pm. I contacted Ron at Corvette Connection in Middletown, MA. He said he's worked on quite a few C4's in his time and he'd be glad to take a look at it. He also has an alignment rack so it will be killing 2 birds with 1 stone, so to speak.
I put a set of stainless works headers ($$$$) so I hope the flange sits nice against the gasket and the ticking noise is just a valve or a rocker. Either way, I'm off to West Africa for a week and a half (business) so he said he will be able to take it when I return.
