Hit a dear last night!
No worries in the company car not the Vette. No apparent damage as it sort of rooled off the a-pillar/roof juncture on the driver's side as it tried to clear the car.
Cruising at about 45 near Bass River State Park and the sucker came out of nowhere.
And yes for you PETA peeps she ran off apparently okay.
Will be driving the Vette easy thru that area from now on.

I hit a deer once with my old car. $1500 damage to the car - the Deer didnt do as well
It happens so fast that I was surprised that I kept the car straight and just slowed down.
Glad you are ok.

Glad you're ok. Besides, the NY crew wants the satisfaction of destroying you on the track. Wouldn't want you to cash in your chips before then.

The spelling in the title thread led me to believe that you hit a loved one.

I total my company aircraft with a deer. I was landing into Easthampton when the deer cam onto the runway. He took my nose gear and part of wing off. Had to crash land at Islip airport. Woalked out with busted lip and sore leg from the impact. The aircraft was total. They are one strong four legged animal.

Move to NYC, we have no Deers on the road, sometimes you'll see a bum on the road, but they are not that fast.

If I was in a kart and that DEER was wearing a Yankees cap I would have definitely successfully passed his azz.

Now had one of the Mikes (Mike69 or MeDrive99) been riding that steed, it would've put it into the wall (or uh a tree).
