North Jersey is the car theft capital of the world,
with more cars stolen in Newark then any other city.
Wow, its an honor living a few minutes from Newark.
Someone stole my neighbors van last night, i'm SO glad my car was in the garage, which it rarely is, from now on its always in there.

hillside is right along newark with car theft rates along with jersey city. the rate will climb even more now that a new police pursuit policy took effect. cars that are stolen for joyriding will not be chased unless they commit a 1st or second degree crime excluding eluding. so now they can dance around police cars doing donuts and will not be chased.
a few years ago they had a NO chase policy where every night there were car thieves driving stolen cars taunting police since they could not be chased. it got so :crazy: that they had to change the policy. now it seems to be headed that way again since there have been deaths due to police pursuing stolen cars where the criminal runs someone over or into another vehicle

i was just told today that we CANNOT pursue even if they are wanted for assault on a police officer unless we are stabbed or shot. :eek:

Hey :D I guess I am "Senior Guy Here" I did 29, & retired at 72% with 100% medical... The best part is I don't have to deal with those :U anymore...
Now I can race 3 times a week to supplement my retirement pay
& lucky Ralph lives only 4 miles from me... He keeps tellin me to go back to Ct.

Hey Senior Guy(John)......congrats! 29 years is a long haul. I just hope when I get to 25 that I'll get the 100% medical. I also hope that these NJ politicians will keep their filthy hands off of our pension system. :smash:
