Actually, previous years' journeys have featured thunderstorms and tornado warnings. I'll settle for plain old rain any day.

My car has been in the garage since Monday night. I've been cleaning the car up over the past few days. You name it, I cleaned it. I'm pretty convinced that by the time this rain stops there will not be one dust molecule on the whole car. It's killin' me though, I want to drive it. I've put 2,000 miles on this car and it hasn't gotten old yet. I could drive it in the rain, but that would make it a filthy mess.Kinda takes the enjoyment out of driving it.
I'm pretty sure that the northeast region is mother nature's toilet.

Made the first leg of the trip this afternoon - 490 miles Boston to Buffalo in about 7 hours driving time - 25 mpg average - nasty rainy mess for the whole of MA and about halfway from Albany to Utica, then finally cleared out. So no, the car is not particularly clean. But did I mention - I LOVE THIS CAR!

, last May my son and I drove 950 miles straight, to my sisters house in SC. Took 13 hours and felt like I spent that time in a lazy boy .

Luckily,here in Queensbury,near the scenic tourist town of LAKE GEORGE in the ADIRONDACKS,it's raining like everywhere friggin else!!!$$#@$%!!!We are however in the middle or close to the middle of the band of rain that's both north and south of us....so it's on and off rain all the time!this sucks!
