Anyone in the central jersey area that has a corsa pace car exhaust on their c5? pondering a purchase but would really like to hear it on the car vs. the sound bites on the corsa website. Would also be intersted in the touring as well, though it seems to sound fairly close to stock, based on the sound bytes on the corsa website.
If so, and you have some time on a saturday to spare or something, please PM.
I live in Warren. If you want to hook up to hear them just PM me.
I have Americian Racing Headers with the X pipes on my car. So the sound on mine is not Just the Pace exhaust.

I just got headers with my corsa pace car as well with high flow cats, quite when cruising and they scream when you get on it
Steve did you have the pace car exhaust on your CE when we did the highpoint run in summer 2005? I remember you blipping thru a tunnel and it sounded wicked.

Yes, I had the just pace car with no headers at that time. The good thing about the corsas is no drone, and they are quite until you got on it. The bad this is some people don't like the idle because they say it sounds like a motor boat, but you can get an X pipe to melow that out, and the tips can be a PITA to get aligned just right.
the headers make it louder at all? how much more did they run? If it were to go for both, I wonder if it wouldnt make more sense to do them both at the same time.
Which tips did you get? I was thinking the GTR tips, dig that look. I'm in Maine on business atm, I'll PM when I get home in a few days, perhaps we can setup a meet and hear.
They are a lot louder with headers when you hit the gas. I got the dyntech header system with X pipe and high flow cats, i had them jet-hot coted as well. You are looking at a lot more money to do the headers. If you want headers down the road then don't get an X pipe since a lot of systems come with one. Otherewize there is no gain to just doing the cat back and headers at the same time other then if you have it on the lift at the same time. I got the pro tips but i got this SLP tip that i need to have put on.

Would any of you southern Jersey guys care to meet up?? I would LOVE to hear a Corsa Pace Car system to see if it's what I really want to go with (although with the pro tips they're dead sexy).
I'm in Rockaway NJ. I have Corsa Pace Car (Pro Tips) exhaust and no other mods (stock intake, no headers, stock h-pipe, stock cats). PM me if you want to hear. 2001 MN6 vert.

I could pass thru there as I am all over South Jersey - live in Avalon, parents in Blackwood, office in Hammonton area. I have a company car all week but typically trade it out for the Vette Friday thru Sunday. I'll be out of the area Friday and Saturday this weekend though.
I have the Pace Cars without headers (yet ). The only other mod is a Blackwing.
I just did the Borla Stinger/Corsa Pace Car thing earlier this year. Much happier with the Corsas.

Being that headers are up their as the next mod. I'd like to check out your set-up as well.
