NE windshield replacement????WTF???????
So I cruise into WAWA tonight to hang out and watch the beach people leave my area, and my radar detector falls off the windshield. I line up the suction cups, press and it falls back down. So I line it up and pess a little harder, and the efiin windshield cracks in 3 places
. Any local (to me) shops that have done a Z06.? I knew the windshields on the Z's were thin, but F**K !!!!

well since I got to do some diggin wit my insurance, a windshield is covered with no deductable under your comp/collision.......so put it through the insurance......my rear window on the tahoe was 250, I'm gonna imagine cuz its a vette an all that crap 4 figures for a windshield if you're payin outta pocket...

I must have just missed you.. was drving by the WAWA about 7:30.. did not see anyone in the parking lot..
Sorry.. don't know any good windshield places down here..

Just got off the phone with safelite auto glass. They can have the windshield in 3-5 days from the dealership, parts/labor...$850.00 plus tax. I saw a thread last night about a passenger visor mount, gues I'll be ordering one of those.

Make sure you definately get a ZO6 windshield, others have been ripped off.

You should go through your ins. company....you're usually covered for one windshield repair a year. Mine was cracked late last year, and they paid for it....Plus, I could swear the HUD looks much better with the new windshield.

That sounds too cheep, are you sure it is a Z06 hud windshield, i think the list is over $1300
