I haven't used my e-z pass in my 89 and was wondering if anyone knows if it will work if I place it behind my front plate cover? (Obviously I have no front plate.) It fits perfectly but I was wondering if it would be too low or the angle of it would be a problem?
I have a 90 and my ezpass, the white box, didn't work consistantly thru the windshield. I got the external one & mounted it to the top two screws that hold the front plate & it works like a charm. I do have my front plate mounted though.
It should work ..Mine is facing backwards to the toll fron inside the hood.
I guess mine is intended for windshield use - it doesn't look like yours. Mine is about the size of a deck of cards and is like a cream color. Since my car doesn't see rain often I guess the weather won't hurt it behind the front plate cover.
