This route is not the shortest route as a matter of fact you will back track about 10 minutes but it is the quickest and you will avoid quite a few traffic signals, local traffic and small towns.
Take the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike Route 476 north. Take Exit 74 which is the first exit after you go through the one and only tunnel. After you pass the tollbooth keep left. You will come to a stop sign at the end of the ramp this will be Route 209 turn right at the stop sign. After 1 3/4 miles on route 209 you will turn left onto route 248. Stay on route 248 for about 10 miles Becky's will be on the left.

You still have Drive In Theaters there? That would be worth a trip all it's own.

Yep there are actually 2 Drive-In Theatres in that area both with 15 miles of each other. Our club tries to make at least 2 trips there it's a 1 hour haul but worth it. They hold 750 plus cars and fill up every weekend. The nice thing is that they tranmits the audio over an FM signal. This way you can either sit in your car with your radio or sit outside as a group with a boombox.

Sounds like a great way to spend a summer night with good friends.
I'm old enough to remember the Drive-In movies that no longer exist.
Tring to watch a movie from the back seat.....yeah, right.
The speaker that was put in the window that if you forgot to remove it........oh boy.

I've never been to a drive-in. Most around here closed by the time I was a teenager. That would be really cool, to see 100+ corvettes at a drive-in, all parked together.

I used to go to the one in North Brunswick on Route 1. Its where the Walmart is just south of where the 1/130 Circle used to be.

I cannot attach the flyer for the show. If you want one sent to you email me at bigroundup@yahoo.com We have been getting tons of postitive feedback about this. Hope to see you all there. For some of youi it may be kind of a long trip especially if you stay for both movies. You may want to consider making this a 2 day trip the Drive-In is close to the Delaware Water Gap, Pocono Mountains etc... lots of stuff to do and great scenery, roads made for your Corvette.

A litlle off topic......but, does the Bushkill Valley Motorcycle Club still exist? They use to have two hill climb events a year. Crazy SOB's . The hill was near Easton, Bethleham area. Railroad tracks across the road and a stream next to that.

I'm attaching the flyer as a PDF here Don, if that's a problem please let me know and I'll remove it. Had to reformat for 11x17 to get it to "print" correctly as a PDF.

There is a typo on the reg form for this event some of the old reg forms read $7 per car for the movie, it should read $7 per person. Sorry for the confusion
