Deb's mom is in the operating room. Could be a few more hours before we know any more. She was a little worse this morning so the doctor's decided to get her into the operating room a little sooner than expected.

More to follow!

As of 1:30, mom is in recovery and the surgery "went well".

Deb sends her thanks and her love to all you guys. As soon as she can, she will get to her computer and give you the latest. In the meantime, I will keep you updated as quickly as I can.

Thanks for your prayers and well-wishes.

Mom spent a few hours in recovery and they expected to have her in ICU for a time. When she woke up, they determined that they could put her in a "regular" room. There was no need for the ICU. Deb says mom was in very good spirits and even told Deb to get the hell out because Deb was making her laugh too much.

Hopefully Don (Geneus) nailed it when he said:

To say the least, Deb is pretty stressed and tired at the moment. She asked me to let you all know that probably by the weekend she will be back here posting and thanking everyone for their prayers and thoughts. Seems like they worked again!

It's been one complication after another and she is now looking at her fourth surgery since then and in all likelihood, the worst. We will need all the prayers we can get right now to pull her through this.......the prayers from you guys have always helped in the past and I'm hoping that strength will carry through today.......

Thank you all so much and Merry Christmas
god bless her and she will be in my prayers
