CORVETTE CARAVAN 10/21!!!
Just got back from Mystic Ct Vette show, and received a flyer for the 21st of October:
"Corvettes for America" :flag A caravan of Corvettes from Walmart, Rocky Hill, to the State Capitol in Hartford along I91. Then Vettes will be parked at the capitol building until 4PM for all to appreciate. Special speeches and donations made to the Red Cross, bands, and WTIC Hosts this event. They are asking for a $20 donation per car to the Red Cross. They are urging $5 from your friends, family, co-workers etc., for sponsoring your car. Plan to arrive at Walmart at 10:30 AM.

Stevie, you bringing...errr is Cheryl bringing you?? :jester Georgies' driving my 93 down and my buddies wife is driving his 87. I'm going to email Rich and Barbara to see if they'll be bringing any of thier vettes down. We could meet at the Dunkin Donuts in East Granby or somewhere else if you want.

How does everyone find out about all these swaps and meets? I would have gone to the one in Mystic if i had heard about it.

Chuck, the Mystic show is an annual thing that's been going on for at least 10 years or so. ttt=to the top :chevy

I've done a search on... ctnow, wtic fm radio, wtic am radio, wtic channel 61, American red cross CT chapter and have found no information on this event. Why aren't these things advertised. :crazy:
