Corvette Challenge 10/6 - pics
Well it was a bummer of a day for me but a great night to be racing! I was chasing down a "best ET to date" right at the start of eliminations, when I found a bolt buried right in the center of my drivers side rear tire. Soooo.... my night was over! :cry I didn't Even make it to the first round!!!! :cry
I couldn't find any place near by to patch the tire and I really didnt want to plug it - esp. while racing so I headed home with my tail between my legs.
But I gotta say it was a great night for racing! I'm sure there were some new bests out there tonight - I know I knocked a couple of thousands off my best - even with my bad tranny!
So how'd you guys make out????

That sky was cool! Nice pictures. For once, I didn't have my camera..and just watched. Of course it was cool standing under the tower and marking off for John M who won the rounds. You really get a feel for the speed at the line.
