I feel like a real slacker not doing anything vette related in the past 4 months. But as you know I have been spending time in the Poconos. This is the first weekend home in 4 months, first weekend we rented the place. Plus the Ruby is sick but today with the help of SCCA CW we are going to try to get her sorted out.

I have lots of event ideas but limited time. I'm going to get some events set up soon. Also I have an idea for a "Cap Tree" for down here.

Yes, we need OUR OWN Captree type of event every Sunday. Why should the NY people have all the fun and have a place to hang out with a bunch of cool cars every Sunday. But similar to Captree we need to include all marques for this to work. From ricers to the exotics, the more the merrier. Hopefully Milla will be on board as from what I understand they kept getting thrown out of places where they would meet due to the high numbers of people showing up.

As we discussed if we do this someplace like Ridley Creek State Park they cannot throw us out for having too many people, maybe for doing burnouts but not for having too big a crowd. There is also tons of awesome roads leading to and from the State Park in every direction. Who knows, if we get a big enough crowd maybe we can even get a concession stand like they used to have in the past.

Lets not let this die, we need more car events in this area. I have friends in the N Jersey area and they have tons of events and cruise nights to go to just about every night. What do we have? Thomas Chevrolet the first Friday night of the month weather permitting, Faulkner the second Friday night and that is about it. LAME.

WE NEED A BIG DESCENT CAR HANGOUT similar to Captree.

I am here!! Catering season has begun, so it's been nuts the past few weekends.

As far as events go, I am the activities director for my local Corvette club and I have attended two of the regions leaded publications with regards to listing car events. Crusin News and the Showfinder. I have over 150 flyers complied in a 3-ring binder talking about events starting in March all the way up to December. There is something going on in the Delaware Valley every single night of the week starting in May. If you want anymore info or want subscription info on either publication let me know, they cover from Maryland to the Poconos. The big ones are Rollin Rods Fuddruckers in Turnersville, NJ on Friday nights, 2nd Saturdays at Adelphia's in Deptford, NJ, 2nd Fridays at Faulkner in West Chester, PA,

As far as an event started by the NE Froum guys I would recommend something like the "4th Sunday of the month, for April till September".
You will always have conflicts with whatever day you pick. But I agree with Sundays, early afternoon like 1 or 2pm. Let me know what everyone decides on and I can get in contact with some of the folks I have met at these different events. I met some guys from Media, PA that are looking for stuff to do with cars.

Pretty soon we will need to wear these-
