You are so right!! I just took a stroll. The sun is out. It's a major sunglasses, no jacket day.
I was kicking myself for not skiing on a day like this. I need to upgrade my DD, get some new gear, and get back in shape. Next year, I'm gonna be a skiier again.
Two teenage kids came by, going to pay them $30 each to shovel the ice sandwich that is out there. It is heavy and you have to break it up with an ice chopper.
Wasn't too bad, except I had to take time to cut some branches off the friggin' bushes in front of my house. They were hanging over the sidewalk loaded with ice.
The sun is out, it's roughly 80 degrees and the snow and ice are melting. Ok, maybe it's not 80 but it sure feels like it.

Funny you mention this, yesterday, my coworker and I were having a conversation with a user about cars and somehow, it lead to talking about how people of Jewish descent, to this day, won't buy German cars. The guy we were talking to was Jewish but he's not very religious. He married a Jewish girl and then moved into a Jewish neighborhood (her idea). Well, the second they saw his Beemer, the whole community got up on his azz about why he would buy it, how could he do such a thing etc. He ended up selling it, although he said, he would have rather sold the house than sell the beemer but his wife would have never been cool with that.
Screw that and screw them, I'd a bought a Mercedes also.

The kids are working hard, this ice is heavy, they have been at it for 2 hours and are just about done. And I shoveled yesterday and got almost 2" of ice and snow up then put ice melt down. That made it easier to do today. My back was hurting after last night so it is worth it. So my mother and grandfather are chipping in and we are paying them $100 ($50 each). The neighbor just came over and is going to pay them to do their drive way also. Everyone is have a hard time with the ice and snow. It is heavier then 12” if it came down as all snow.
I just went out to back my Lincoln out of the driveway. I went out in shorts and t-shirt. It does feel warm out there. The thermometer reads 41 deg here.
